The historic village Bonanzaville has over 40 buildings that portray Red River Valley life in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, complete with historic artifacts and furnishings. Also located at the village is a main museum, featuring the largest collection of Native American artifacts in the region, the Eagles Air Museum, with over 20 early airplanes, and many other museum areas with collections ranging from telephones to trains. Located in West Fargo, the complex is less than eight miles from downtown Fargo and includes historic buildings such as an 1895 schoolhouse, Fargo's first house built in 1869 and the late 19th century Furnberg Store.
Open mid-May - late Sep: Mon. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Thurs. until 8:00 p.m.; Sun. noon - 5:00 p.m. Days and hours vary the rest of the year, check website for details.
Adults $6.50; Children (6-16) $3.50; Children 5 and under are free.
